Hospital Negligence

It is not always the doctor’s negligence that causes injuries. Sometimes nurses and other hospital staff or administration are to blame. Nurses and hospital departments should be held accountable for being negligent when monitoring patients, failure to contact a physician in response to signs of patient distress, failure to follow the chain of command, exceeding authority, ignoring patient complaints, medication errors, and withholding needed medical care, hospital lab errors, and hospital pharmacy errors.
